 Perfect for teaching toddlers the concept of volume (sound) September 25, 2006

The illustrations in this board book are perfect for the descriptive short phrases. Our 2-year old toddler requests this book before his naptime ('silencio') and both whispers and shouts where appropriate as I am reading. He mastered the concept of volume in sound as a result of this book, and it's really cute to see him put his finger to his lip to whisper 'shh' when he sees the 'silencio' pages. I highly recommend this book.

I love reading this book to my 8 month old. I read the silencio parts quietly and the ruido parts louder and my daughter thinks it's hilarious. Such a fun book and nice way to learn some Spanish words.
